Opnext Leads Industry with 16G Fibre Channel Longwave Live Demonstration at OFC Mar 23, 2009

San Diego, CA - Opnext, Inc. (NASDAQ:OPXT), a global leader in the design and manufacturing of optical modules and components, today announced the availability of a 16G Fibre Channel Long Wave (FC LW) SFP+ Transceiver prototype. This is the industry's first live demonstration of a 16G Fibre Channel Long Wave SFP+. The demonstration will be showcased at the Opnext booth #902 during OFC/NFOEC being held March 24-26 at the San Diego Convention Center.
