Yenista, a provider of fiber optic T&M solutions for both laboratories and manufacturing, announces the release of the Extended Variable BandWidth (EVBW) option of the Xtract optical tunable filter.
In order to increase network efficiency, the EVBW option allows to tune the Xtract's bandwidth (FWHM) from 150pm to 1000pm, enabling clean channel extraction from ultra Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing system to high bit rate system - up to 100Gbps with no limitation in modulation format. The Xtract is an high-end benchtop tunable filter featuring low loss, large spectral coverage from 1450 to 1650nm, +/-15pm auto-positioning, and an unsurpassed flat-top and sharp optical response.
