This device is used to transport of native fibre channel and FICON traffic, it features the tri-rate support of all the 1/2/4g standard as described by FCIA.it integrate two parallel transponder that normally run independently,this allow the device to perform as two independent fibre channel transponder or as one 1/2/4g transponder with line protection.related 2gb sfp and 4gb sfp are avaible include ons se 4g sm and ons se 4g mm,optic parameter from the interfaces can be monitored and the device can be managed to give control of performance management and configuration.
