New 5810 Multi-Service Muxponder is targeted for Mobile Backhaul and other Next Generation Network (NGN) migration applications for both network operator and enterprise customers
Stockholm, Sweden and Transport Network Strategies, Barcelona, Spain - Following the successful launch earlier this year of the industry's first 4 Gbit/s CWDM / DWDM Multi-Service Muxponder, Transmode extends these capabilities to the TS-Series. The new 5810 Multi-Service Muxponder is targeted for Mobile Backhaul and other Next Generation Network (NGN) migration applications for both network operator and enterprise customers.
The new 5810 Multi-Service Muxponder allows operators and enterprise customers to deploy multiple services over a single 4 Gbit/s CWDM or DWDM wavelength. This new approach is ideally suited to NGN access migration and combining 2G/3G Mobile Backhaul using a combination of SONET/SDH and GbE.
