Transmode, a leading provider of Optical Networking Solutions, has further developed its TG-Series, a passive optical WDM platform, to achieve unmatched port density.

Service providers are facing increased need for network capacity, in particular in the Metro and Access area. The requirement originates in the need for higher capacity business and residential services. "Second mile" fiber is therefore required closer to the end customer, with deployments to street cabinets and manhole applications where space is scarce
