10G 300PIN MSA Lithium Niobate small form factor (SFF) Tunable Transponder Feb 20, 2008
Uses a Negative chirp MZ LN modulator across the entire C-Band and over long distances.
Civcom’s SFF Transponder is a Long Reach Widely Tunable Transponder designed for DWDM applications. The transponder contains both a 10Gbps Widely Tunable Transmitter and a wide band receiver. Civcom’s 10G-SFF interface is compatible with the 300PIN MSA and I2C interface. The Small Form Factor Transponder uses a widely tunable laser covering the entire C-Band.
The 10G-SFF uses a Negative chirp MZ Lithium Niobate modulator to enable High performance under OSNR load across the entire C-Band and over long distances.
